Hajara Yusuf lost her husband on 29th October, 2011. Before his untimely death, he worked with the State Ministry of Health, Bauchi as an office clerk. The Infectious Disease Hospital (IDH), Kano is located in Fagge local government area of Kano State and services the entire population in North West Nigeria. The health facility is one of the three drug resistant tuberculosis (DR-TB) treatment centers established by FHI 360, in collaboration with the NTBLCP and with funding from the USAID.
